Where did the League go?
They are invading a TV or a Theater near you
by Gaby
Last time you watched them, some of them were searching for Clark who was lost in the Arctic, some on screen others on offscreenville. Others that haven’t been officially joined the JLA are taking sometime off, finding a lost home, or just doing some reading. And one of them is now part of the team but the last time we saw him he was being part of Metropolis Police.
Now that’s what the show tells us, but the people behind of all these super heroes? Where they now or what will they do?
Let’s see where you can catch up with the Leaguers, from the “oldest” to the news additions:
Kyle Gallner
Last time we saw him on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.17 “Hex”
Well technically we didn’t see him. All we know is that Impulse was with Clark “dealing with a crisis in Keystone”
What has he been doing: Kyle has been probably the busiest Leaguer. You could see him guest starring a few high profile shows like “Cold Case”, “Big Love”, “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and “CSI: New York” in a recurring role playing Gary Sinise’s stepson.
Kyle jumped to the big screen with the movie “The Haunting in Connecticut” which became a box office hit on ts opening weekend.

Now he signed to be part of the remake of the film “A Nightmare on Elm Street” in which he will face Freddy Krueger. He will certainly need to run fast.
Alan Ritchson
Last time we saw him on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.01 “Odyssey”
What has he been doing: Alan also has been doing some movies like “Fired Up” and he will be starring along with another Smallville veteran, Sam Jones III, on the new Spike TV show “Blue Mountain State” He will playing the role of “Thad” a senior on the football team who ‘loves hazing incoming freshman’.
Lee Thompson Young
Last time we saw him on the Show: Season 6th – Episode 6.11 “Justice”
What has he been doing: Lee has been also guest starring in a few shows like “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” and he is now on the “Sacred’s Heart Hospital” team as a surgical intern whom Dr. Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) is mentor on the ABC show “Scrubs”.
Phill Morris
Last time we saw him on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.12 “Bulletproof”
What has he been doing: he created show called the “Emissary” which he is also starring. “Emissary” is the story of anthropologist Campbell Essex (Morris) discovering his destiny as the latest in a line of “Emissaries” or peak humans. Constantly pursued by ancient enemies who seek his power, Campbell struggles to overcome his own limitations before it’s too late. The series spans several hundred years and touches on serious issues of what it means to be human while bringing a new level of brutal realism to the sci-fi / fantasy genre. The series is also starring by Aaron Douglas (another Smallville alumni) and shooting is scheduled to begin in late 2009
Laura Vandervoort
Last time we saw her on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.08 “Bloodline”
What has she been doing: Laura besides being cast on the ABC show “V” and having the upcoming movie “Into the Blue 2″ along with Chris Carmack (also guest star on Smallville), has been casted to be the lead on a new Sci-Fi movie called Riverworld with Tahmoh Penikett who also stopped by Smallville on season 6 as Wes Kennan. Penikett (now on FOX’s Dollhouse) and Laura will play “a war correspondent and his fiancée who, shortly after dying, awaken in a land populated by everyone who has ever lived on Earth.
Riverworld already started production Monday and it’s expected to premiere in 2010.
Alaina Huffman
Last time we saw her on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.01 “Odyssey”
What has she been doing: Alaina will be back to the Sci-Fi genre with the new show ‘Stargate Universe’ with Scottish actor Robert Carlyle. She is going to be playing Tamara Johansen who’s an inexperienced field medic.
Serinda Swan
Last time we saw her on the Show: Season 8th – Episode 8.17 “Hex”
What has she been doing: She will be part of the movie Tron 2.0 the sequel to the cult 1982 Sci-Fi hit. She will play one of, what she calls “temptresses” from inside the computer world. She tells TV Guide in an interview.
So what are the chances they will be coming back to the Smallville? All depends on their schedules on their other projects. One thing is for sure. We will like to watch them to come back and help Oliver and Clark on Smallville but we are glad they are having the much deserved success outside the Superman world.
